Business innovation is a multidimensional concept that goes way beyond simple advancements in technology or computer programs. It is a new way of thinking. A new way of doing things that applies to all aspects of a business from management to marketing, from design to distribution. It is new products or services that add value or reduce costs, it is initiatives that capture and retain customers or provide new services. It can even be ideas that do not affect businesses directly, but indirectly through the creation of a more business friendly environment. No matter what innovation specifically is, it improves the ways businesses do business and thus is a critical driver of growth.
SENADA is leading the innovation movement by launching a 1,000,000 USD grant fund for firms, institutions and organizations that have innovative ideas for a more competitive Indonesia. The fund will provide grants for pilot activities and selective research that will lead to programs, products and services that will increase the overall competitiveness of Indonesian industries.
