Program Studi Teknik Fisika, Fakultas Teknologi Industri ITB kembali menggelar acara tahunan Lomba Mahasiswa Tingkat Nasional 2008 PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) yang akan diadakan 26-27 Agustus 2008. Tema lomba PLC tahun ini adalah Peningkatan Kompetensi Sumber Daya Nasional di Bidang PLC.
Pendaftaran lomba PLC dibuka tanggal 1 Maret ditutup 1 Juli 2008.
Technical meeting diadakan pada tanggal 1 Juli 2008, berisi: penjelasan perangkat keras dan pembagian perangkat lunak, demo PLC, latihan dan penjelasan lomba. Peserta lomba tidak wajib hadir, tetapi jika hadir akan mendapatkan informasi yang lebih baik dan terkini.
Lomba PLC tahun 2008 akan menggunakan PLC Mitsubishi dengan CPU tipe Q02H dan perangkat lunak untuk pemrograman adalah GX Developer. Informasi produk

WORKSHOP & PAMERAN:
Bersamaan dengan lomba, di tempat yang sama juga diadakan workshop 26 Agustus 2008 dan pemeran PLC 26-27 Agustus 2008 dengan tema NEW TREND ON PLC AND INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY. Workshop dan pameran terbuka untuk umum dan tidak dipungut biaya, tapi diprioritaskan bagi peserta lomba.
Peserta LOMBA PLC 2008 otomatis terdaftar sebagai peserta workshop. Peserta workshop akan diberi sertifikat jika menghadiri seluruh sesi.
